I'm an educator.
I am passionate about educational equity and enjoy helping others realize and reach their full potential. I am particularly interested in the intersection of design and education.
KIPP West Philadelphia Preparatory
I worked as a Special Education TA for 5th and 6th grade students. I designed engaging activities for for the 22 students on my caseload who need educational and behavioral accommodations. I collaborated with the head teacher on a rigorous yet supportive instructional plan that led our sixth graders to perform the best in the KIPP Philadelphia School district.
Stanford Freshmen RA &
Frosh 101 TA
For the 21-22 academic year, I was a freshmen resident assistant for 92 freshmen, as well as a teaching assistant for a course designed to help first-year students transition to Stanford's dynamic campus. I help foster belonging and inclusion by planning weekly community events.
Playworks Design Project
Playworks is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps schools and youth programs create a school environment where every child feels included, is active, and builds valuable social and emotional skills. As part of a class project, I was tasked with redesigning the digital component of Playworks.
Project Dosti - AGN School
I spent Summer 2019 in Tamil Nadu, India working at a school of more than 2000 students. I implemented workshops and competitions, such as debate and creative writing to aid in developing student's critical and creative thinking skills.
